Sandra's passionate and vast film career began with Documentaries. Take One Productions produced many of the projects in the beginning of her career. From there she transitioned into feature films, and worked on projects such Rain Man, Top Gun, Short Circuit, A Tiger's Tale, etc. From Production Coordinator, 2 AD, to PM, Sandra loves all aspects of filming. She has had the extraordinary pleasure of working with some of the most dedicated and talented filmmakers of our time and with studios like Paramount, Lyons Gate, Universal, Dream Works, and others.
She began producing National Television Commercials with award winning director, Eric Saarinen of Plum Productions. She continued her career with Plum for over fifteen years, filming the majority of Eric Saarinen's nationally recognized commercials. Sandra established herself as a valued Producer, executing all aspects of production. Producing campaigns in excess of three million dollars, Sandra is a master at client relationships, distant locations, and international travel. She thrives on the creative conceptualization and script development of her works. Her impressive client list and products included Budweiser, Reebok, Chevrolet, Tostitos, MetLife, Ford, Mountain Dew, Coke, and Pepsi, to name a few. Recently she received a Telly award for her producing skills on an independent documentary, “After Glow” that aired on PBS. As well as, co-producing 2016 highly acclaimed and award winning documentary for PBS American Masters Series, Eero Saarinen, “The Architect Who Saw the Future”.
Sandra was also nominated as Barnes & Noble Discovered Writer of the Year Program in 2003 for her first book, “Two Thousand Minnows”, published by Lyons Press/Globe Pequot, and was invited to participate in several book signing tours, including that of Barnes & Noble’s. With a second edition paperback released in October 2014. Her greatly awaited second book is in the final the stage of publication and release. Sandra continues to collaborate with authors and editors, such as Michael Ray Brown, Bruce Gelfand, Natalie Bates, Val Hudson, and Lilly Golden.
