JIM GILMORE
Vice President

Jim Gilmore spent 25 years as an Ad Agency Producer with the major automotive agencies in his native Detroit. Jim has spent time with JWT (GTB now), BBDO-Detroit and Campbell Ewald, his automotive clients were the big three brands: Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet.
It was during Jim’s 15 years at Campbell Ewald as a Senior Vice President, Executive Producer that he began working with Eric Saarinen on the initial Chevy Tahoe launch; then worked with Eric for about 10 years straight, on several other various Chevy Truck brand campaigns.
While at Campbell Ewald, and in between Chevy assignments, Jim was named lead producer on non-Chevy accounts:
Michelin North America, US Navy Recruiting Command, Kaiser Permenante Health Care, and National City Bank. While freelancing since leaving Campbell Ewald Jim has worked on Kimberly-Clark, Fiat, Ram Truck and Chevy Motorsport at various agencies around Detroit. As a freelancer, Jim had the opportunity to work as a Visual Effects Supervisor and Audio Post Supervisor on a 10 million dollar budgeted Indie Children’s film that came to Michigan to shoot. Jim supervised all the Visual Effects live action element capture work and Computer Animation finish and final audio mix on the film here in the Detroit area, due to talent availability, did all the ADR work in LA. Jim also supervised the Dolby Certification for the film and worked with FotoKem in LA on all the final digital release masters and film release prints.
Jim has also spent the last four years volunteering with the Grosse Pointe Artists Association. Two years on the Board of Directors and the last two years as a special events consultant. During Jim’s Board time with the GPAA, he was on the steering committee to move the association from a retail space in the Grosse Pointe Business District back to it’s original home, The Grosse Pointe War Memorial. As a Special Events Consultant Jim has been instrumental in producing the two big annual fundraising events for the GPAA, “Cars & Trucks: A Fine Art Juried Exhibit” and the Lecture Series “Your Old Mansion”.
Jim received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University in Telecommunications and minored in Fine Art Photography.
Jim is married and lives on the east side of Metro Detroit.
